Bobby Caldwell’s illustrious career spans over three decades.  His first album, “What You Won’t Do For Love” gave birth to several very popular hit singles including: “What You Won’t Do For Love”, “My Flame”, “Can’t Say Goodbye” and, “Down for the Third Time.”

“What You Won’t Do For Love” reached the top ten on both the pop (#9), R&B (#6), AC (#10) charts.  “What You Won’t Do For Love” has been covered and sampled many times by many exceptional artists, including: Phyllis Hyman, Go West, Boyz II Men, and 2Pac.  Many other Bobby Caldwell songs have been covered and sampled including “My Flame” covered by Vanessa Williams for her 1999 Greatest Hits CD and also sampled by Bad-Boy recording artist The Notorious B.I.G.  Most recently John Legend’s “Open Your Eyes” contains an interpolation of Caldwell’s song.

Bobby Caldwell’s notoriety spans continents with major hits in North America, Europe and Asia, most notably Japan, where Bobby Caldwell’s gold and platinum hits have earned him superstar status.
